Singapore Google Technology User Group

Spent the afternoon in the google office in Singapore today to attend the SG-GTUG meeting. The speakers covered monetizing and analytics, which essentially are:

  • Google AdWords
  • Google AdSense
  • Google Analytics

Surprisingly, only AdWords and AdSense were purely about business (what is there to be said about technology?).

Vinoaj Vijeyakumaar (http://vinoaj.com), a Customer Solution Engineer at Google Singapore, was delivering the speech about Analytics and gave a nice overview of the technology being used there and also some insight into the not so obvious features. Overall a nice event with much to learn.
